While
the Bobcat was coming out of hibernation I found myself going
to the doctor for a tune-up of my own. I caught a bad infection
and had to take some strong medication for 10 days. Thank the
Lord I am on the mend and look forward to getting behind the
wheel of the Bobcat...I will post our schedule changes as they
come up. We are shooting for April 22nd as the first outing
for the Bobcat.
I
didn't know this, but Bobcats do not roar. They click from what
I am told...Does anyone know the sounds they make? Email
me with the right answer and I will send you a prize! Brindisi@aracnet.com.
We
are excited about being able to upgrade our tow vehicle
which will be a great benefit to the longer trips. My wife will
appreciate the quieter ride compared to our other truck nicknamed
"Big Red". The truck has two gas tanks and is clean
and comfortable!
Congratulations
to Steve Beaman and the "Bam Bam" Racing Team...they
are really on track when they ran a 9-second pass in their beautiful
Olds Cutlass. I will try to post his website soon as you can
take a peek at his awesome machine. Steve has worked very hard
to sort the car out for this season...Great Job Guys!!
It
was good to meet another representative (Terry H.) from Amsoil
at the Swap Meet. We look forward to representing our sponsors
and seeing many of you at the track...Make sure if you come
to stop by and say hello!
There
are a few pointers on the schedule page that might be of
help if you plan to come to the track. Do not forget the sunscreen
and the water bottle!
